Our Story
A journey in digital transformation
Our story is deeply intertwined with the evolution of information technology, reflecting our commitment to innovation and adaptability. Let’s take a digital journey through our history.
The Early Days
It all started in 1989 when our program was developed for MS-DOS and distributed via Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) using dial-up modems. Orders were shipped on 5″ floppy disks, affectionately known as “floppies,” before we transitioned to more durable 3.5″ disks.

Global Expansion
By 1996, we translated our program into English and launched it globally through the burgeoning internet and the World Wide Web. This period also saw the creation of our first website, marking our entry into the digital age.
Windows Era and School Integration
In 1997, we developed the first Windows version of our software. A year later, we introduced a school version that could be used on local networks and managed with a special tool. Beginning in 1999, the Windows version was also available on CD-ROMs.
Online Transition
Around 2004, we launched the first web-based version of our program for schools. Initially, it was installed on school intranets, but by the end of the decade, internet usage was more widespread. Our first web-based version was built using Java, and we later transitioned our courses to Flash, then ultimately to HTML5.
Cloud Adoption
After more than a decade of operating on dedicated servers, we embraced cloud computing and migrated our services to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This shift allowed us to enhance our scalability, reliability, and global reach.
Digital Citizenship Lesson: Embracing Technological Change
Our journey exemplifies the importance of adapting to technological advancements. In the digital age, being a good digital citizen means staying informed and flexible as technology evolves. Here are key takeaways from our story:
1. Adaptability: Just as we transitioned from floppy disks to cloud services, it’s crucial to stay adaptable and open to new technologies.
2. Innovation: Embracing innovation can lead to global opportunities and growth, as seen in our move to the internet and later to cloud computing.
3. Continuous Learning: The shift from Java to Flash to HTML5 highlights the importance of continuous learning and upgrading skills in the tech world.
